For a long time, I've been very self conscious about my body. I used to do print modeling when I was younger ( and smaller ) and I cringed at the thought of that even being a part of my life seeing how much weight I'd gained.
But after doing this photoshoot for my best friend, Kimbrea Dejae, it changed my perspective on bodies.
I never wanted to be categorized as a full or plus size model, it sounded unappealing to me, considering I'm only a size 6-8 in my pant size. In the modeling industry, if you aren't a stick with a little booty, they didn't really want you unless you were categorized.
I would cry and cry and ask why I wasn't small enough, but now I know different. Every part of my body is REAL. Every piece of fat or roll that shows sometimes is REAL. My thighs are REAL. My waist is REAL.

I told my best friend I was worried about how my body looks in the photos, but after showing my mom, sisters and friends, I'm VERY confident in myself and how REAL I am. Wearing one of Kimbrea's swimsuits for an actual photoshoot has given me so much more confidence.
To all my ladies who feel weird about embracing your REALNESS, remember this......
YOU DO WHAT YOU WANT WHEN YOU POPPIN!
PEACE, LOVE AND HAPPINESS!
