Happy Tuesday! Have you ever wondered how much you try to change the way you view things to please another person?
I've been doing that since I was 14 and a Freshman at Whitney Young HS. I wanted everyone to like me, and I never understood why most people hung out with me but never really became my friend.
Well now, at 26 ( In a few days) I've realized.....
IT NEVER MATTERED!
It didn't matter because I wasn't truly living for myself! I was basing my happiness on what I THOUGHT others would like....then I saw this post on Twitter
So if we aren't the same for any one person who perceives us, why aren't we ultimately living for ourselves in the first place? We have to learn to be okay with who we are, whomever that may be.
Tune in to Nitty's Knocker tonight on Que4.org to dive into this conversation with us! As well as hang with Glitter Moneyyy and Cari Diaz as we talk Childish Gambino's This is America and Meek Mill's freedom!
